Shipping Policy

Our chocolates are packed and shipped using shipping materials to ensure their safe delivery. During cooler months, the chocolates can be shipped via ground for minimal costs, however chocolates going to warm destinations and during warmer seasons need to be delivered overnight or next day service with warm weather packaging. This option is available under the scroll down menu under Packaging Options. YOU JUST HAVE TO SELECT WARM WEATHER PACKAGING ONCE. YOU DO NOT NEED TO SELECT IT FOR EVERY ITEM YOU ADD TO THE CART. The charge for Warm Weather Packaging is $5.00. This packaging consists of a special thermal bubble wrap and gel-ice packs to help keep your chocolates cool. It can help your chocolate shipment cope with warm weather, but there are limits and so we highly recommend shipping to an address where someone will be able to receive the package when delivered. Chocolate left outside your home all day may be damaged by weather that is too hot, cold, rainy or humid. Petits Noirs cannot be responsible for damages if you (or the recipient of a gift) are not present at time of delivery and for damages as a result of the delay in claiming the package. Also, Petits Noirs cannot be responsible for heat damage if you instruct us to ship ASAP without Warm Weather Packaging.

Undeliverable Packages
We will not be responsible for packages that are returned as undeliverable. If a returned package needs to be re-shipped, a second shipping charge will apply. If the products have melted due to excessive time away from our kitchen, a second product charge will also apply.
